The Chinmaya Mission Northwest Indiana Center was established in 2002. It has now evolved into an organization serving the entire Indian community in Northwest Indiana. Chinmaya Mission is an excellent opportunity for spiritual learning.
Children are the architects of tomorrow’s society. Young boys & girls of moral character & cultural values build healthier societies. Our Balavihar & Yuvakendra is known for it’s structured syllabus. We meet every Sunday afternoon from 4:30pm – 6:30pm, except on posted holidays.
To help our next generation understand & acquire our values, we encourage the entire family to participate. Adult Vedanta study groups meet at the same time for a systematic study of the scriptural texts prescribed by the study scheme & participate in group discussions. Each study group has a sevak/sevika to help facilitate the discussion & ensure effective learning of the message conveyed by the text.
